This is the first time that Bangladesh grabbed gold medal in the prestigious Asian Games in Mens Cricket T20 event. Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by 5 wickets in the final of Mens Cricket of 16th Asian Games 2010 held at the Goangzhou Cricket Stadium to day at(BANGLADESH, , Bangladeshi Test cricketers, ,BD, CRIKET, T20, TEST,RATING,SHEDEULE,ONEDAY,WORLD CUP,ASIAN GAMES,2014,2010,GOLD, silver, ) 1:30 pm. Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 118 by 19.3 over and lose 8 wickets. The highest scorer of Afghanistan team is Mohammad Stanikzai he scored 38 chasing 36 balls he was not out in the event. In the Bangladesh innings opener Naeem Islam scored 34 facing 42 balls, Roman Ramman scored 33 by 18 balls, Mithun scored 22 for 22 balls and skipper Mohammad Ashraful scored 10 facing 15 balls. Bangladesh reached their target within 19.3 over.
